India is the largest democracy in the world, As Great Power comes with great responsibility most famous dialogue of Spider Man movie, same way big democracy comes at big cost.Battle ground of Election has been started among the political party,  As Election commission of India had announced the election date, In this post I will not  talk about any political part but as a tax payer of this nation, I will talk about money expenditure on upcoming Lok Sabha Election.

This time election polling will start on 11th April and end on 19th May with 7 phase of polling and final result will be on 23rd May. It will cost around 7 billion dollar , it is said by a new Delhi based center of media studies. our upcoming Lok Sabha Election cost is more than US presidential election cost, which was 6.5 billion dollor.

Previous Lok Sabha election cost was 5 billion dollar, If we compare it is 40% increase in cost. this 40% hike in cost because of social media advertising and campaign which election commission will do to aware voter to use their voting power to form a good and stable  government. 

A per study it will cost $8 per voter in country where 60 percent of population earn $3 dollar per day. That's why Big Democracy comes at Big Cost.What you think about  Expenditure of upcoming Lok Sabha Election let me now in comment.
