This is an interesting topic and I share my opinion about it.

I watched movie many times, when I watch first time I found
everything was perfect in movie and movie gives very good message which is “ Earn Excellency success will come automatically’’. After watching movie many time I found that Chatur was smarter than other because his target were set, He knews what he is doing apart from 3 Idiot. He said one dialogue in Movie to Aamir that your idea would not work in real life because he was having better understanding of this world.

Chatur was well aware about what require to live good life either hook or by Crook, He was well aware that Honesty and Excellency not guarantee 100 % success.

most common example is corporate life where hard worker and excellent employee hardly get appreciation. Chatur was well aware that he is not that much smart like Aamir khan but well aware how to survive in this competitive world. He was well aware that it does not matter how much smart or intelligent you are, at end of the day all you require Needs of life.

I also agree with Aamir khan philosophy but in countries like India , Does Excellency and Handwork really Pays? We study not to gain knowledge but to get good material life that is hard reality of our education system.

We see around us that knowledgeable and hard worker suffer a lot they not get good wages and less talented person on top of management position just because of corruption and Nepotism . Being Chatur is not bad because Chatur was well aware about his target.
