It is not possible to grow on Steem without using dApp because whatever platform you are using to interact with Steem blockchain is a dApp like www.steemit.com, www.busy.org, www.steempeak.com etc. dApp are very useful to grow on Steem especially for new user. When a new user joins Steem platform, user have very limited resource credit to interact with the blockchain. dApp like esteem, Actifit, Dlike are giving sure Upvote if a user interact with dApp.

At starting stage any user good work does not recognized by Steem community until and unless user stay for considerable time on Steem platform and put continuous effort. dApp helped me a lot to increase my RC and Voting power on Steem platform.
