Internet connection speed plays very important role if you work through remote desktop access and use application like Citrix, for one of my client i use to work using Citrix, where fluctuation or slowdown of internet connection disconnect my computer with remote desktop, there are many website available over internet to check the internet connection speed but show lots of ads.

Fast.com is an awesome website developed by Netflix, which provides neat and clean user interface to check the internet connection speed. To calculate the speed fast.com performs a series of download and uploads on Netflix server and calculates the maximum speed of your internet connection.
